How to Use the Government of Canada Mobile Portal

The following is an overview with instructions on how to use the Government of Canada Mobile Portal. It contains images that show you what it may look like on a Web-enabled device and a description on how to access the services that are currently available.

Note: Smartphone and Tablet users should access the Canada Site directly (www.canada.gc.ca) rather than access the Mobile Portal.

Point your mobile Web-enabled device (Web-enabled cell phone, PDA) to: www.wap.gc.ca

NOTE: Your service provider may charge to access information provided through the Internet on your wireless device.

At the present time, some wireless devices do not have the technology to support special characters such as French language accents. This can cause entire words or parts of words to display improperly. Should you experience this technical difficulty, please verify with your wireless device manufacturer to confirm that this is a feature available on your device.
