Are you looking to stay up-to-date on the latest cyber information in the Department of National Defence and Canadian Armed Forces (DND/CAF)? Are you interested in sharing and learning about cyber security best practices? Do you want to join a community of likeminded individuals? Look no further!

In recognition of Cyber Security Awareness Month (CSAM), ADM(IM) is launching the Cyber Security Awareness Team, a cyber-community on MS Teams open to all Defence Team members. Here, you will be able to ask and answer questions and share cyber security related information with your colleagues across the Department year-round.

Cyber security is everyone’s responsibility, so let’s collaborate, educate, and spread awareness to others. As we become cyber aware, we will increasingly become cyber secure and cyber resilient.

To join the Cyber Security Awareness team, follow these steps:

1. Login to Microsoft Teams with your Defence O365 credentials (@ecn.forces.gc.ca)
2. Click the “Teams” tab, and select “join or create a team”.
3. Under “Join a team with a code”, enter “v4xd1v2”.
4. Congratulations! You have successfully joined the Cyber Security Awareness team!
