Interface SeedGenListener

Deprecated.

since 8.0; seeding is now handled automatically by Entrust's SecureRandom implementations (random number generators); for access to the PRNGs underlying seeding algorithm call generateSeed() on the SecureRandom instance.

public interface SeedGenListener

The SeedGenListener interface is used with SeedGenerators. SeedGenerators can be instructed to call a method each time random bits are generated to allow the calling application to find out when seed generation is finished or to let them display a progress indicator for the user.

Deprecated.

Method to be called by SeedGenerators each time new random bits are generated. bitsReady is the number of random bits already generated, bitsTotal is the total number of bits to be generated. This method solely informs the application of the progress of seed generation, it serves no other functional purpose.
