This is the abstract super class of credential readers that can be used for creating/recovering Entrust Digital Identities in Microsoft CryptoAPI (MSCAPI) using PKIX-CMP.

This class supports programmatic password entry if supported by the Cryptographic Service Provider (CSP). If a non-null password is provided during a User.login() operation with this credential reader an attempt will be made to provide the password to the CSP programmaticaly. This avoids having the user enter the password manually via the CSP GUI.

Its purpose is to provide the common functionality required by its sub-classes.
