Minister Bibeau to announce the creation of an organization to support Canada's pork sector

November 4, 2020 – Ottawa, Ontario – Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada

The Honourable Marie-Claude Bibeau, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food, will announce the creation of an organization that will strengthen the sustainability of the sector, promote pork marketing and production, and conduct research to find new and innovative ways to improve the sector's competitiveness. This announcement will take place during the virtual annual general meeting of Les Éleveurs de porcs du Québec.
