Minister Bibeau to announce financial support for on-farm activities to combat climate change in agriculture

July 7, 2023 – Ottawa (Ontario) – Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada

The Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food, the Honourable Marie-Claude Bibeau, will be at the Centre d'initiatives en agriculture de la region de Coaticook (CIARC) to announce funding for new on-farm research activities aimed at developing and implementing best practices for reducing greenhouse gas emissions in agriculture and agri-food in Quebec. The Minister will be accompanied by Martin Caron, President of the Union des producteurs agricoles, Daniel Gobeil, President of Les Producteurs de lait du Québec, and Jean-Pierre Charuest, Chairman of the Board of the CIARC.
