Honorary Colonel Cathie Puckering

Cathie Puckering, CEO of the John C Munro Hamilton International Airport was appointed as Honorary Colonel of 436 Air Mobility Squadron at 8 Wing Trenton, ON, in September 2019. Honorary Colonel Puckering was born in Hamilton, On, is a Chartered Professional Accountant and graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from Laurentian University. Prior to joining the Airport in 1999 she was Controller at CARSTAR Automotive Canada.
Honorary Colonel Puckering is an active volunteer with Liberty for Youth and CityzKidz in Hamilton, programs to provide inspirational experiences, mentoring and support to high-risk children. She is an active supporter of United Way, Canadian Cancer Society and St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton. She is also a member of the Hamilton and Burlington Chambers of Commerce.
Honorary Colonel Puckering is a proud supporter of Canada’s military as the sister of a Major with the Canadian Air Force currently based in Bagotville, Quebec.
