CBSA officers seize marijuana at the Toronto Pearson International Airport
August 23, 2017 Mississauga, Ontario Canada Border Services Agency
The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) today announced a seizure of over 35 kilograms of marijuana at the Toronto Pearson International Airport.
On May 31, 2017, CBSA officers conducting a warehouse check selected two boxes for further inspection. The boxes were opened and found to contain over 50 taped, brick-shaped bundles. The bundles were subsequently tested and proved positive for marijuana.
The narcotics were turned over to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
