Use ArriveCAN for a faster border experience
ArriveCAN offers a better, faster border experience
Get this free and secure travel app for your mobile device. Available in English, French and Spanish. Download the latest version of ArriveCAN or select "update" in your app store.
If you have accessibility needs, the web version of ArriveCAN may be the best platform for you. The web version meets Government of Canada accessibility standards and W3C WCAG 2.1 AA criteria. It fully supports the use of assistive technologies such as screen readers and magnifiers.
ArriveCAN is also available as a free mobile app downloadable from the Google Play or Apple App stores. The mobile app may work fine for most, but some people may still have some difficulties using it. We're working to make the mobile app more accessible as quickly as possible. If you have the mobile app installed on your mobile device, you may have difficulties signing in to the web version of ArriveCAN. If this happens, you may need to delete the mobile app.
ArriveCAN now and in the future
The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) is making technology available at the border to give travellers a more modern and faster experience.
Today, ArriveCAN offers the Advance CBSA Declaration feature. This optional feature is for travellers who want to save time at certain Canadian international airports by providing their customs and immigration declaration to the CBSA in advance.
In the coming months and years, new border-related features will come online in ArriveCAN and change the border experience for the better.
