National Auction


Starting Monday, November 23 at 10:00 a.m. (EST) until Friday, December 4 at 8:00 p.m. (EST), federal public service employees and retirees can participate in a virtual auction featuring a beautiful selection of Canadian art, donated by Deputy Heads from across government, all in support of the Government of Canada Workplace Charitable Campaign (GCWCC). All proceeds will support HealthPartners and United Way Centraide.
The GCWCC National Auction is virtual and checkout will be quick and easy!
Follow these steps…
1. Sign Up
Text "GCWCC" to +1 (819) 201-1913 and follow the instructions in the response. A link will be sent to you via text that will take you to the sign in page for the auction. Sign-up and have a blast checking out all the amazing items we have lined up.
Participants can also register online here. However, we encourage all employees to register via text as it is the simplest way to participate.
Please stick with one method for registration.
2. Notifications
Enable notifications either by SMS or e-mail in order to make sure you are keeping track of the items on your favorites list. There is an ability to place auto-bids so you do not need to monitor your favourite items in the auction… it will automatically bid for you!
3. Like Your Favourites
Browse the items up for auction and make sure to favourite the items you’re most interested in. This will create a list of marked items to make it easier for you to track/ view your favorites.
4. Won Items
On this tab, you’ll see the items you have the current highest bid on, or that you’ve won.
5. Pay and Collect
Once the auction closes, you will be e-mailed an invoice for items you’ve won and can seamlessly pay through the mobile app. Once payment is collected, the National Chair’s Office will contact you to arrange delivery of your item.
Rules and Regulations
- All sales are final with no exchanges or refunds. Please note that due to the nature of this event, tax receipts cannot be issued.
