Powering clean communities

Eighty per cent of Canada’s electricity emits zero carbon pollution. But we have to do more. We need more solar and wind farms, more hydro, tidal, and geothermal power, and more battery storage for that renewable power. We need more provinces and territories working together to connect communities to clean and reliable sources of energy, and more electric car chargers so Canadians can drive cleaner and further.

Clean power means creating more clean energy; ensuring it is affordable and accessible to all Canadians, and getting it where it needs to go.

Electric Vehicles Network

With over 550 “fast-charge” stations across Canada, and hundreds more under construction, we are connecting Canada – and Canadians – like never before. That means getting to and from work, soccer tournaments in the next town, and visiting family in another province, are all within reach with an electric vehicle.
