2022 Canadian Creative Industries Trade Mission to Europe

The Department of Canadian Heritage, in collaboration with Global Affairs Canada through the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service, will lead its third creative industries trade mission under Canada's Creative Export Strategy from May 5 to 13, 2022, focusing on Europe, and more particularly Germany, Sweden and the Netherlands. In addition to promoting and helping to extend the reach of Canadian creative industries to new markets and audiences, the mission will foster a greater understanding of the three countries' business environment and its opportunities and challenges.
The delegation will include Canadian companies and organizations already selected following the initial announcement of the mission in 2020, from a range of creative industry sectors (including audiovisual, music, book publishing, interactive and digital media, performing arts, and fashion/design). No new recruitment process will be launched.
Mission Objectives

The business delegation program for the mission will include:
- business briefings;
- pre-arranged business-to-business meetings;
- networking events;
