Originally from Toronto, singer-songwriter Basia Bulat will take you on a journey into her world. Nominated several times for Juno and Polaris awards, she stands out for her incomparable voice and an artistic sensitivity that is reminiscent of R&B, soul and even freak folk. Her talent also earned her a place on the big stages, her compositions having been performed by symphony orchestras. As a guest artist, she also takes part in prestigious tribute-shows, including those that were dedicated to Leonard Cohen, Daniel Lanois and The Band, to name a few.
