Description

Family Day: Film Screening and Inuit Throat Singing

Free activity

Join us for an afternoon of Inuit singing with Tarniriik and a screening of the film Tia and Piujuq.

Tarniriik consists of young performers Samantha and Cailyn who share their throat-singing skills.

In the film Tia and Piujuq, Tia, a 10 year-old Syrian refugee living in Montreal, finds a magic portal and travels to the Arctic. There, she befriends an Inuk young girl with whom she discovers a world of Inuit myth and magic.
