Winter Indigenous Culinary Event

Paid activity — consult the partner’s website for more information.

This gala event features the culinary artistry of two renowned Indigenous chefs, both of whom are women. Cezin Nottaway (Anishinaabe) and Trudy Metcalfe (Inuk) are known throughout the region and beyond for offering new twists on traditional Indigenous dishes in exciting and innovative fusion cuisine. The evening features outstanding performances by two well-known Juno-nominated Canadian artists. Silla and Rise are known for their high-octane blend of Inuit throat-singing and dancefloor beats, and Cris Derksen combines the symphonic with the Indigenous in a powerful genre-defying form of new music.
