Come OUT and Play!

Sparks St., between O’Connor St. & Bank St., Ottawa

Saturday, February 9, 11 am to 5 pm

Winter blues got you down? A little cold weather is no excuse for missing out on the physical and mental benefits of moving your body.

Bring the kids and create an ice mosaic using small coloured blocks of ice in the rainbow flag, challenge yourself at a game of Basketball Tic-Tac-Toe, and be on the lookout for the Ice Hogs family, Winterlude’s furry mascots. Our friends from the Ottawa Redblacks will also be around for autographs, photo-ops, and other fun surprises!

Indulge your sweet tooth with the sticky—and all-natural—Quebec treat of taffy on snow, and Beavertails too!

Grab a warm drink and meet trailblazers that defined our community the past 50 years and learn about their stories in the Capital Pride Village Legacy Project tent that will feature talks/discussions with leaders from the Canadian LGBTQ2+ community.

Local DJs spinning uplifting beats will give you the pep you need to discover that winter is as great a time as any for an outdoor workout or a little dancing in the streets!
