Team Alberta — Winterlude National Ice-Carving Championship
Sculpture title: Pinnacle
Carvers: Scott Harrison and Andrew Zoller
Location: Lake Louise, Alberta
Pinnacle celebrates Canadian Winter Olympic athletes and their focus, dedication and courage, which allow them to attain the highest levels of their abilities. The sculpture evokes how we can take pride in our country’s elite and the sacrifices they make, while representing us at the same time. This work is also an homage to classical Greek sculptures. With over 21 years of experience in ice-carving, Harrison and his sculpting accomplice, Zoller with 5 years in the field, have teamed up and poured their energy and passion to create this piece.
