Universal accessibility

Services to ensure universal accessibility are offered on the Rideau Canal skateway: ramps to access the Skateway and accessible portable toilets.

A limited number of accessible paid parking spaces are available for persons with disabilities at these locations:

  • National Arts Centre (NAC)
  • Ottawa City Hall
  • Dows Lake parking (corner of Preston and Prince of Wales)
  • Bronson Avenue’s National Capital Commission (NCC) parking space

Lost and found

Lost and found boxes are kept at Winterlude information kiosks at the Snowflake Kingdom (Jacques-Cartier Park), on Sparks Street and at the Rideau Canal Skateway, inside the Fifth Avenue rest area.
