Take the free OLG Sno-Bus shuttle service to different Winterlude sites!

OC Transpo and the Société de transport de l’Outaouais (STO) will provide a shuttle service linking Winterlude’s official sites: Snowflake Kingdom in Jacques-Cartier Park North, in Gatineau, Crystal Garden in Confederation Park (including Marion Dewar Plaza at Ottawa City Hall) and the Rideau Canal Skateway, in Ottawa. OLG Sno-Bus stops are clearly indicated on Winterlude signs.

Saturdays and Sundays, February 3, 4, 10, 11, 17, 18

In Ottawa

Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., between Dows Lake, the Rideau Canal Skateway and Confederation Park.

In Gatineau

Saturdays and Sundays, February 3, 4, 10, 11, 17 and 18, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., between the Centre Robert-Guertin park-and-ride, Jacques-Cartier Park North and Confederation Park.

Monday, February 19 (Ontario Family Day)

Monday, February 19, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., between Dows Lake, Rideau Canal Skateway, Confederation Park and Jacques-Cartier Park North.

It also shows the locations of first aid services, special services for persons with reduced mobility, Information Kiosks, paid parking, and where dogs are not permitted. On the map, point A shows the location of Confederation Park (including Marion Dewar Plaza), point B shows the location of the Rideau Canal Skateway and point C shows the location of Jacques-Cartier Park North.

Road Closures

Ottawa

Laurier Avenue West between Nicholas and Elgin Streets, the on-ramp from Queen Elizabeth Drive to Laurier Avenue West, and Queen Elizabeth Drive from Confederation Park to Preston Street will be closed to traffic at the following timesFootnote 1:

  • Saturdays, February 3, 10 and 17, 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
  • Sundays, February 4, 11 and 18, 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Monday, February 19, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The westbound lanes of the Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway will be closed to traffic at the following timesFootnote 1:

  • Sunday, February 18, 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Gatineau

Laurier Street northbound, from Sacré-Cœur Boulevard to Dussault Street, Dussault Street, from Notre-Dame-de-l’Île Street to Laurier Street, and Marston Street, from Laurier Street to Notre-Dame-de-l’Île Street, will be closed to traffic at the following timesFootnote 1:

  • Mondays, February 5 and 12, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Thursdays, February 8 and 15, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Fridays, February 2, 9, 16, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
