In 1970 our family went to see Queen Elizabeth during her visit for Manitoba's 100th Anniversary. As the train pulled by slowly she was on the platform of the caboose & waved slowly to everyone. I believe she was wearing a pink suit (but my memory on that could be faulty ??). As a 4 year old, I was struck by her dignity and patience with the public. That has stayed with me my whole life & I offer sincere condolences to her family at this most difficult time.

My condolences to the entire Royal Family. The Queen's legacy will live in her peoples hearts for a long long time. God Bless!
I feel as though the world has shifted with the loss of Her Majesty the Queen. What a life dedicated to service. As an equestrian, I have loved the Queen’s dedication to her horses and particularly Her and Prince Phillips’s development of driving as an equestrian sport. Thank you for your lifetime of service Your Majesty.
I send my condolences to the royal family. Since I was little I admired the strength and humility the Queen showed through her 70 year reign. I had always revelled in the idea knowing I grew up in a time when there was a woman on the throne and although it was not directly impactful I knew that if she was able to do what she did it gave me courage to try anything.
A life well lived. A life that witnessed and endured many moments in history for almost a century! Queen Elizabeth II was not only the calm that helped the world to carry on in the most difficult of times, but the constant example of how to serve and respect others. Thank you, your Majesty!
Thank you for being a mother, not just to your family but to families all around the world. May your soul rest in perfect peace.
