I express deep sadness for the loss of her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II who was the only constant example for more than one generation to the meaning of duty and dignity.
I recall her visit to Nanaimo close to 50 yrs ago. It was such a magical moment for me as a small child. Her smile was so infectious to all that met her. Amazing tenure, she will be missed
I was sad to hear about the death of the Queen. I was born in London at the St. George's Hospital. I was only 5 when we came to Canada but I do remember standing in line waiting to see the beautiful queen. I remember having to courtesy as she went by me. I think I must have been somewhere around four years of age. You will remain forever in our hearts.

It is with deep sorrow I write this. The Queen was a constant in my life like the Northern star. I wish to say thank you for all that the Queen did for Britain and the Commonwealth.

Sincere condolences and prayers for the loss of this gracious Monarch, the people of the World claims as his/her own. A selfless, humble, kind and brilliant lady who loved all people. My wee Scottish grandmother went back to Scotland as often as she could. My dad was born there as well. We are proud of our roots there and honoured to have had a Queen who cared for us and loved us. God Bless the Monarchy and God Save the King.

Moving to a farm in Greenock Swamp. Then I was about 8 years old I sent a Wedding Anniversary card to Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip and got a reply. I was over the moon!
