We need your help! Fill out this survey on the Exchanges Canada Program
The Department of Canadian Heritage needs your help. We want to know what kinds of experiences are most interesting to young people in Canada so that we can ensure the Exchanges Canada Program continues to be relevant and effective. Whether or not you are interested in cultural exchanges, if you’re between the ages of 16 and 30, we want to hear from you! Please complete the 10 minute survey and make your voice heard.
Current status: Open
The survey is now open and you have until September 30th to respond.
How to participate
You are invited to complete the online survey by September 30th.
Participation is voluntary and confidential. Please note that disrespectful comments towards individuals or cultural communities will not be tolerated.
Your responses will help the Department understand youth perspectives on certain topics that are relevant to the program, such as travel, language learning, civic engagement, and Canadian history. Your opinions will directly inform government decision-making and help to shape a program that serves young people like yourself, today and for years to come!
About the program
The Exchanges Canada Program, launched in 2000, is a funding program at Canadian Heritage that supports non-profit organizations so they can offer exchanges, forums, and summer jobs to youth between the ages of 12 to 25. Through this initiative, young people from across Canada have a unique opportunity to explore and discover our beautiful country and to connect with young people from different regions. All this, with the goal of valuing diversity, fostering cultural understanding, improving their knowledge of official languages and allowing them to create friendships and lifelong memories.
