Request a review of a refused export permit
Permit applicants must notify the Secretariat to the Canadian Cultural Property Export Review Board of their review request within 30 days of the postmark date on the Notice of Refusal issued by the Canada Border Services Agency.
Refused permits will be reviewed at the next scheduled Review Board meeting, provided that there is sufficient time for all parties to prepare and submit information beforehand. View the list of meeting dates and deadlines of the Review Board to find out when to submit all information.
For more information about requesting a review, please contact the Secretariat to Canadian Cultural Property Export Review Board.
The results of export reviews are typically communicated to all parties within one week of the Review Board meeting where the request was considered.
