Get tested
- Being tested is the only way to know if you have COVID-19.
- Some people with COVID-19 have no symptoms; common symptoms include:
- fever
- cough, and
- difficulty breathing
- Health Services will swab your nose or throat. Knowing test results helps us:
- treat symptoms
- stop the spread, and
- resume activities more quickly
- If you are offered a test, please take it
Get your vaccine
- Getting vaccinated is the best way to protect yourself against COVID-19
- The COVID-19 vaccine is safe and approved by Health Canada
- it is highly effective in preventing hospitalization and severe symptoms from the virus
- When you are offered a vaccine, please take it
- it will help protect you and your loved ones
- Even when vaccinated, you must continue:
- wearing a mask
- keep physical distancing, and
- washing your hands often
