Minister Champagne in Québec City to discuss the Spring Economic Update 2026

Québec City, Québec – On May 13, the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Finance and National Revenue, will participate in an event hosted by Québec International in collaboration with LE CAMP. The Minister will join Mr. Carl Viel, President and CEO of Québec International, in a fireside chat. 

The Minister will discuss the government’s plan to face global uncertainty with fiscal responsibility and pragmatic economic choices, as outlined in the Spring Economic Update 2026, all while highlighting concrete opportunities to support businesses and organizations in the region. 

Media are invited to attend the event. The Minister will take media questions following the fireside chat.
