Why #IGive

#IGive because I believe we can only succeed if we do it together. As members of a community that has provided for and supported us, we have the opportunity to give back and pay it forward.

Being part of the NDWCC team gives me a sense a community while giving back to the community. #IGive because I know it makes an impact in communities across Canada and it's rewarding to bring people together to contribute to a better future.

#IGive because there is more to this realm of possibilities than our own perceptions. There are people who hope, feel, and dream. People who laugh, cry, and scream. People who breathe the same air, smiling at first light or sighing at last light. I give because we're in this world together, where we can lift spirits, share in a moment, and make change happen, even when we're apart.

#IGive because my family has directly benefitted from many of the services. My two sons were adopted through the Children’s Aid Society, and have special needs. When we first adopted them, we had to tap into many community services to help get them back on track.

If it weren’t for these organizations and our donations, my children probably wouldn’t be here today. I give for them, and the hundreds of thousands of Canadians who rely on the support and services the charities provide.
