Four days before the start of the Marches, CAF representatives visited the St-Symphorien war cemetery in Mons.
They paid tribute to the first soldier who died in the First World War…
…and the to Private George Price a Canadian who perished just two minutes before the cease fire.
Then, the marchers paraded in Mons, following the paths of their comrades who helped liberate the city 100 years ago.
And layed wreaths to commemorate the lives of those who died on European battlefields.
