Commander Canadian Army Change of Command Ceremony to take place on Parliament Hill

July 12, 2016 – Ottawa – National Defence / Canadian Armed Forces

Media are invited to attend the change of command ceremony for the Canadian Army on July 14. Lieutenant-General Paul Wynnyk will assume command of the Canadian Army from Lieutenant-General Marquis Hainse in a Parliament Hill ceremony presided over by the Chief of the Defence Staff, General Jonathan Vance.

Where:
There will be a designated media viewing area and for this reason, media are requested to arrive at Parliament Hill no later than 9:30 a.m.
When:
10 a.m. to approximately 11a.m. on July 14. 
What:
An official Change of Command ceremony, followed by a brief media opportunity with Lieutenant-General Wynnyk.
