Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence to speak at Calgary Peace Prize Roundtable

Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence, Kent Hehr will attend a round-table discussion on international peace initiatives and challenges as part of the awarding of the 2017 Calgary Peace Prize from Mount Royal University.

The Calgary Peace Prize recognizes outstanding individuals from the global community who work towards making the world a more just, safer and less violent place.

In addition to Minister Hehr, the roundtable discussion will feature the 2017 Calgary Peace Prize recipient, Douglas Roche, and Bev Delong, Chairperson of the Canadian Network to Abolish Nuclear Weapons.
