Media advisory – Announcement regarding support from the governments of Canada and Quebec for Expansion PME

McMasterville, Quebec, February 8, 2019 – Sherry Romanado, Member of Parliament for Longueuil–Charles‑LeMoyne and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Seniors, and Simon Jolin-Barrette, Member of the National Assembly for Borduas, Minister of Immigration, Diversity and Inclusion and Parliamentary Leader of the Government, will announce financial support for Expansion PME, the regional export promotion agency (ORPEX) in the Montérégie-Est region.

The announcement will be made on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED), and Pierre Fitzgibbon, Minister of Economy and Innovation and Minister responsible for the Lanaudière Region.

Jean Rioux, Member of Parliament for Saint-Jean, Michel Picard, Member of Parliament for Montarville and Pierre Breton, Member of Parliament for Shefford, will also be on hand for the announcement.
