Durham Region and Eastern Ontario offer expanded tourism experiences

Today, on behalf of the Honourable Filomena Tassi, Minister responsible for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario), Ryan Turnbull, Parliamentary Secretary to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance and to the Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry and Member of Parliament for Whitby, announced an investment of over $600,000 through the Tourism Growth Program (TGP) for four organizations in the Durham Region to draw new visitors to the region through expanded offerings. This is part of a total investment of over $1.1 million for nine projects in Durham Region and Eastern Ontario.
