Overall, Service Canada:

  • Is comprised of over 18,500 employees who are dedicated to providing high-quality client services.Footnote 1
  • Serves clients online, over the telephone and in-person via 590 points of service, including 320 in-person centres, 238 scheduled outreach locations and 32 passport offices.
  • Provides 39 services, including statutory programs like Employment Insurance (EI), Canada Pension Plan (CPP), and Old Age Security (OAS).Footnote 2
  • Has a vast service mandate representing over $122 billion in operations and benefits. Over 95% of this amount (117.1 billion) directly benefits Canadians through statutory programs.Footnote 3
