Submit a request by mail

The following steps will help you mail in your ATIP request:

Step 1: Complete the form

To apply for information under the Access to Information Act , complete the Access to Information Request Form. Step 2: Enclose payment

Alternatively, you can pay by credit card (VISA or MasterCard) by phoning the Access to Information and Privacy Division directly at 819-654-6981.

In addition to the $5 application fee, other fees may apply if the search for the information takes more than five hours or requires computer programming. If that is the case, you will be notified beforehand, in writing, and you may then choose to accept the additional fees, narrow the scope of your request or cancel your request.
