Government of Canada welcomes introduction of legislation to support good quality jobs

On Thursday, November 1, the Honourable Patty Hajdu, Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Labour, will announce recently tabled legislation that would modernize federal labour standards to better protect Canadian workers and help set the stage for good‑quality jobs. While in Toronto, she will meet workers from VIA Rail and the Port of Toronto.
