Service Provider Details

Activities recorded in HIFIS, such as Stays or Goods and Services, are all linked to a service provider. When you register with NHIS, you will provide basic information about your primary service provider. You then have the option to create secondary service providers in order to distinguish between different locations or different types of services.

The first time you log into HIFIS after activating, you may want to add more details to your Primary Service Provider.

Step by Step: Adding Details to the Primary Service Provider

  1. Select the Service Provider button. You will find the Service Provider name provided at the time of Registration in the List.
  2. Select Edit.
  3. Enter the telephone number, fax number and e-mail address for your service provider.
  4. If needed, enter a cut-off time (the time, after midnight, that you consider part of the previous day’s book-ins). For example, if you set the cut-off time for 02:00 am the day will end at 02:00 am instead of midnight.
  5. If needed, add other services that are offered at the primary service provider. Select the Services Offered button. Move the appropriate services from the Available to Selected column by choosing the service and using the Sselect button. Double-clicking each value that applies will also move it to the Selected column. Exit the screen by selecting the Blue checkmark.
  6. Press Save and Exit.
