Creating a Waiting List Demonstration

Welcome to the Creating a Waiting List demonstration.
To create a waiting list, select the Waiting Lists button from the Front Desk menu. This opens the Waiting Lists screen.
Select the Add New Record button to open the Details screen.
Before adding details, you must enter a name for the waiting list that has not been used before and select the blue checkmark.
In the List Type, select the thing for which you are creating a waiting list. For example, to create a waiting list for a bed in the shelter, choose Room / Bed.
Select the Date that the waiting list comes into effect.
Next you must add clients to the Waiting List by selecting Add a new Client to the List. This opens the Client Search screen. Select a client from this list.
The date the client was added to the list is automatically set to the current date. You can select the priority that he or she has on the list (High, Normal or Low). The reason the client is on the list is a mandatory field and therefore must be filled out.
You can also select the client's current status on the list and the date of the last status update.
To add the service providers that will provide the service in demand, open the Service Providers tab.
Select the Service Providers button to open the list of service providers. Select at least one of the service providers from the available column.
Additional notes can be added in the Comments tab.
Once all information has been entered select Save.
