Social Innovation and Social Finance Strategy

From: Employment and Social Development Canada

Canada is a relatively prosperous country, yet our communities still face persistent and complex social problems that affect some groups more than others, such as Indigenous people, seniors, youth, immigrants, and women fleeing violence.

The Government of Canada recognizes that new and innovative approaches are required to tackle these social issues. That is why the Government has committed to developing a Social Innovation and Social Finance Strategy for Canada. Read the Recommendations of the Social Innovation and Social Finance Strategy Co-Creation Steering Group.

This strategy will provide better support for community organizations working to achieve positive solutions to persistent social problems, including those facing vulnerable populations.
