Why we are creating a roster of workplace harassment and violence prevention investigators
The Government of Canada introduced legislative changes (Bill C-65) to strengthen the Canada Labour Code. The legislation also aims to better protect workers from harassment and violence in federally regulated workplaces. It will come into force in 2020.
As part of the legislation, we are creating a national roster of qualified workplace harassment and violence prevention investigators. The roster will be available to employers.
