Reaching Home funding streams

From: Employment and Social Development Canada

Reaching Home is a community-based program aimed at preventing and reducing homelessness. It provides direct funding to communities across Canada to support their efforts in developing local solutions to homelessness.

Eligible organizations may receive funding to prevent and reduce homelessness in Canada through regional and/or national funding streams.

National funding stream

The national funding stream helps to develop a better understanding of homelessness based on local data collection. This stream supports communities in their development and adoption of a system of coordinated access, capacity building, activities to understand, gather, analyze, and disseminate information about homelessness, and foster innovation in the sector.

Regional funding streams

Reaching Home has four regional funding streams that provide funding to communities to address local homelessness needs.
