Canada Pension Plan and Old Age Security information in My Service Canada Account

View/change personal information while residing out of Canada

If you have or had an address or direct deposit outside Canada or are receiving Canada Pension Plan (CPP) or Old Age Security (OAS) benefits under an international agreement, you will only be able to view your information online. To update your personal information, contact us and speak with one of our agents over the phone.

View estimated CPP benefits

If you have contributed to the Canada Pension Plan, you can view your estimated monthly CPP benefits using the “Estimated monthly CPP benefits” link.

Starting in 2019, the CPP will be gradually enhanced. Current benefit estimates do not reflect these changes.

You will not be able to apply online if:

  • you have already applied for the CPP retirement pension and Service Canada is currently assessing your application;
  • you are currently or were previously receiving a CPP disability benefit;
  • you previously received a disabled contributor’s child benefit or a surviving child’s benefit;
  • you were previously receiving a benefit that was paid to a designated third party;
  • you currently live outside of Canada; or
  • you have an authorized third party on your account.

If any of the above applies to you, you will need to complete the Application for a Canada Pension Plan Retirement Pension and include certified true copies of the required documentation, and mail it or bring it to the Service Canada Centre closest to you. Mailing addresses are provided on the form.
