“I want to be able to look back and know that I did everything in my power to improve the state of our environment and inspire others to care and act along the way.”

Meet Morgan! Morgan Book began her career with Environment and Climate Change Canada as a Policy Analyst in Nova Scotia, where she helped plan the 2018 Halifax G7 Summit on Climate Change, Oceans, and Clean Energy. With just over two years on the job, Morgan now works as an Intelligence Analyst with the Environmental Enforcement Directorate, and is making a difference in improving the state of Canada’s environment. Morgan’s day-to-day work results in short and long-term positive environmental impacts in the Atlantic Region and across Canada. She considers herself a “detective for the environment” and enjoys learning about and seeing the implementation of environmental regulations that protect the natural world.

Morgan’s passion for the environment started at a young age during summers spent outside at camp and it has continued to grow stronger and deeper. She is thankful for the countless opportunities she has had to explore, live in, and love nature.
