Minister Dabrusin to announce next steps to fight climate change and drive investments in energy and clean tech across the country

Vancouver, British Columbia – December 15, 2025 – Media representatives are advised that the Honourable Julie Dabrusin, Minister of the Environment, Climate Change and Nature, will announce next steps to fight climate change and drive investments in energy and clean tech across the country. These measures are part of Canada’s Climate Competitiveness Strategy, released as part of Budget 2025.
Prior to the announcement, senior government officials from Environment and Climate Change Canada will hold a bilingual technical briefing, which will be on background only and not for attribution.
