Minister Dabrusin and the Federation of Canadian Municipalities announce funding to protect communities from severe weather

Halifax, Nova Scotia – August 11, 2026 – Media representatives are advised that the Honourable Julie Dabrusin, Minister of the Environment, Climate Change and Nature, will announce new climate resilience projects.
She will be joined by Carole Saab, CEO of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities, Tim Tierney, President of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities, a representative of the Halifax Regional Municipality, and Shannon Miedema, Member of Parliament.
Following the announcement, Minister Dabrusin will hold a media availability.
