Federal Sustainable Development Strategy 2016 to 2019 management framework: appendix 2

Performance measurement framework

This performance measurement framework (PMF) provides the details of how performance at key outcome levels (immediate, intermediate, and ultimate) will be tracked and reported during the 2016 to 2019 timeframe. The PMF is meant primarily to inform and guide ECCC’s Sustainable Development Office and key partners regarding its management practices. It is also intended to provide useful information about the outcomes of the strategy related to meeting the objectives of the act. As such, the performance measurement table includes descriptions of the performance measures, including a brief explanation of how these will be tracked, and timing and frequency of data collection. In accordance with the PMF, an overview of progress will be included in progress reports, as appropriate, as information becomes available. The PMF for 2016 to 2019 below was informed by the results obtained from the PMF for the 2013 to 2016 period.
