2019–2022 Federal Sustainable Development Strategy Management Framework: Executive summary

The 2019–2022 Federal Sustainable Development Strategy Management Framework outlines the key systems and procedures required to implement the Federal Sustainable Development Act and improve accountability for the Federal Sustainable Development Strategy and its progress reports. Key elements

In addition to changes that reflect the strategy for 2019-2022, this management framework includes elements not found in frameworks for previous strategies. Updates have been made to reflect the Government of Canada’s approach to implementing the Sustainable Development Goals and also to show the 2019 enactment of the Impact Assessment Act. Note that new performance measures have been added in the Performance Measurement Framework annex.
