News Release

October 27, 2016 – North Bay, ON – Federal Economic Development Initiative for Northern Ontario – FedNor

More than 50 agricultural and equine businesses and organizations from across Northern Ontario are gearing up to take centre stage at this year's Royal Agricultural Winter Fair. The participants will be highlighting their products and services as part of the Northern Ontario Agri-food Pavilion.

The 7000 square foot exhibit is supported by FedNor in partnership with the NECO Community Futures Development Corporation. As the largest pavilion at Canada's premier indoor agricultural exposition, it will provide exhibitors with numerous opportunities to network, expand their markets, and increase sales.

This marks the 16th year that FedNor has participated in the fair. The 10-day event, which runs November 4-13, 2016 at the Enercare Centre in Toronto, is expected to attract more than 320,000 Royal visitors.

Special events at the Northern Ontario Pavilion will include scheduled food sampling at the Northern Cuisine demonstration kitchen, two cooking demonstrations on Friday, November 11, as well as taste testing offered by Northern Ontario beer, wine and spirits producers at the Royal's onsite LCBO store.
