Minister Patty Hajdu to make an important FedNor announcement to support technology, innovation and business growth in the City of Timmins

Timmins, Ontario, August 23, 2019—The Honourable Patty Hajdu, Minister of Employment, Workforce Development, and Labour and Member of Parliament for Thunder Bay—Superior North, will be in Timmins August 24, 2019 to make a significant FedNor announcement to create jobs and maximize economic opportunities in the community. The announcement will be made on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development, and Minister responsible for FedNor.

Minister Hajdu will be available to answer questions from the media and for a photo opportunity following the announcement event.

Later in the day, Minister Hajdu will visit a local organization participating in the Canada Summer Jobs Program for a photo opportunity.
