Government of Canada announcement to enhance tourism, promote diversity and support economic growth in Thunder Bay region

Thunder Bay, Ontario, March 2, 2020— The Honourable Patty Hajdu, Minister of Health, and Member of Parliament for Thunder Bay-Superior North, and Marcus Powlowski, Member of Parliament for Thunder Bay–Rainy River, will announce FedNor funding to strengthen and grow the region’s tourism sector, promote economic development and create local jobs.

The announcement will be made on behalf of the Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Economic Development and Official Languages, and Minister responsible for FedNor.
