MP Terry Sheehan to announce Government of Canada investment in food supply chain and agri-food businesses in Sault Ste. Marie area

Sault Ste. Marie, ON, October 11, 2023 —Terry Sheehan, Member of Parliament for Sault Ste. Marie and Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministers of Labour and Seniors, will announce FedNor support to help grow and diversify the agri-food sector and strengthen food supply chains and food security in the Algoma district. MP Sheehan will be joined by David Thompson, Director of the Rural Agri-Innovation Network (RAIN), a division of the Sault Ste. Marie Innovation Centre, and others.

MP Sheehan and event participants will be available for questions from the media following the announcement.
