International Trade Minister to present Canada's progressive trade agenda at Conference of Montreal

The Conference of Montreal is a key opportunity for Canada to demonstrate its international leadership on global challenges and highlight the government’s progressive trade agenda. The Honourable Chrystia Freeland, Minister of International Trade, will take part in the conference today to discuss Canada’s commitment to trade and prosperity.

The theme of this year’s annual conference is Shaping a New Era of Prosperity. The Minister will address this issue by highlighting the benefits of the Canada-EU Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) while participating in a plenary session.
